Irwin Cohen reflects on his history as a baseball writer and photographer and his memories of the number retirement ceremony for Hank Greenberg and Charlie Gehringer in 1983.
Cohen worked at Tiger Stadium as a writer and photographer and was employed in the front office. Cohen is a member of the Society for American Baseball Research and has written several books, including Jewish Detroit and Tiger Stadium.
